Vallyron XT

Vallyron XT is an advanced hematinic combination featuring Ferrous Ascorbate (100 mg elemental iron), L-Methylfolate (1 mg), and Zinc Sulphate (61.8 mg), specifically designed to optimize hemoglobin rise. Formulated as a highly stable ferrous ascorbate complex, it minimizes insoluble ferric ions to ensure maximum intestinal absorption. Compared to conventional iron supplements, Vallyron XT offers superior safety with a 30% reduction in gastrointestinal adverse events and a 50% decrease in epigastric burning sensations. Ideal for managing anemia in pregnancy, it is dosed at 100 mg elemental iron daily when Hb is above 8 g/dL, or twice daily for 15 days followed by once daily when Hb is at or below 8 g/dL.
